The Link Knock Sensor is a non-resonant piezoelectric knock sensor designed to detect engine knock (detonation) by monitoring engine block vibrations. When used with a compatible Link ECU, it transmits these vibrations as an electrical signal, allowing the ECU to detect knock and adjust the engine calibration to help protect the engine while optimising performance.
| Models Supported | Link ECUs with knock detection capability. Other aftermarket ECUs with compatible knock sensor inputs. |
|---|---|
| Warnings | Install directly onto a suitable flat surface on the engine block. Recommended tightening torque: 20 +/- 5 Nm. Correct mounting torque is critical for accurate knock detection. One or more sensors may be required depending on the engine and application. |
